Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Humble Ledger, including our apps and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use Humble Ledger. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
The Service
Humble Ledger is a manual-first personal finance tool. It does not connect to your bank; it records the information you choose to enter. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Subscriptions & billing
Humble Ledger offers a free trial and paid plans: monthly and annual subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Purchases are made through and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms. We never receive your payment card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for continued access, not a recurring subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
- Prices may change. We'll provide notice where required, and any change applies to future billing periods, not ones already paid.
Not financial advice
Humble Ledger is a tool for tracking your own money. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied on as such. Decisions you make with the help of the Service are your own.
Acceptable use
- Don't misuse, disrupt, or attempt to break the Service.
- Don't access the Service through unauthorized means.
- Don't use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights.

Your data is yours. We claim no ownership of the financial records you enter, and you can export or delete them at any time. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to Humble Ledger and is protected by law. These Terms don't grant you rights to our trademarks or to copy the Service.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available,"without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Humble Ledger will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or if needed to protect the Service or its users.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll post the revised version here and update the date above; continued use means you accept the changes.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Humble Ledger operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes any consumer-protection rights you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
